WnW_Logo_2015On Friday & Saturday, October 7 & 8, 2016, the Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival will take place in Alpharetta.

For two days, nationally recognized and local up-and-coming singer-songwriters will perform on multiple stages. Friday evening’s performances in downtown Alpharetta & Avalon are free. Saturday’s performances are a ticketed event in downtown Alpharetta, but it’s relatively cheap to attend the Wire & Wood Festival: Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the gate, & children age 12 & under are admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult.

Friday: The Plaza in Avalon

  • 6:00 p.m.: Andrew Ripp
    7:00 p.m.: Jimmy LaFave

Friday: Main Stage in Downtown Alpharetta

  • 7:00 p.m.: Across The Wide
  • 8:00 p.m.: Smokin’ Novas
  • 9:00 p.m.: Jessie Albright & Foster Blues

Friday: South Main Alley Stage in Downtown Alpharetta

  • 7:00 p.m.: Davin McCoy
  • 8:00 p.m.: Adron
  • 9:00 p.m.: Eliot Bronson

Saturday: Main Stage in Downtown Alpharetta

  • 6:00 p.m.: Shawn Mullins
  • 7:30 p.m.: Emily Saliers (Indigo Girls) / Kristian Bush (Sugarland)
  • 9:00 p.m.: John Oates (Hall & Oates)

Saturday: Street Stage in Downtown Alpharetta

  • 5:00 p.m.: Lily Winwood
  • 6:15 p.m.: John Gorka
  • 8:00 p.m.: Ken Block and Drew Copeland (Sister Hazel)

Saturday: Acoustic Stage in Downtown Alpharetta

  • 5:00 p.m.: Eliot Bronson

Free parking is available at the Alpharetta City Hall Parking Deck (2 Park Plaza off South Main Street) and at Milton Center (86 School Drive at Independence High School). Free street parking may also be available.
