About the show, with no spoilers:
Written by hip hop & spoken word playwright Psalmayene 24, with all original music composed by Atlanta composer Eugene H. Russell IV, this new hip hop musical examines the ten crucial years in the early life of the congressman, and his journey from student activist to major leader in the Civil Rights movement – all by the time he was 28.
This innovative journey dares to ask how we grow into the courage of our convictions and offers a fresh perspective on one of the most dynamic periods in American history. The time has come to make some “Good Trouble!”

Theatrical Outfit is committed to making theater accessible to all!
At every performance, there are at least 15 seats that go for just $15 each — no special status or promo code needed. You’ll see those seats available for selection on the seating chart when you buy your ticket. They are often marked in yellow, with regular price seats in red.
While the 15@$15 seats are quite often off to the far left and right, remember that this is a 200-seat theater with perfect sight lines from every chair. This is nothing like paying for the $80 obstructed-view seats at the Fox!
If you love theater but are on a budget, take advantage of 15@$15 and see a show.

Pay What You Can performances
These take place on Wednesdays — June 11th, 18th, and 25th.
Tickets are only available in-person, starting one hour before showtime, and include any available remaining tickets. You can pay as little as $1 for a ticket on these nights!
Still, for most people, the best low-cost option is the 15@$15 tickets, which can be purchased online in advance.
