The Friends of East Roswell Library will hold its annual used book sale this weekend, on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2026.
This is a large-scale book sale, featuring thousands of books across multiple genres and age groups.
The sale is FREE to attend; just pay for books at deeply discounted prices.
Hours:
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
Sunday is the final day of the sale, and it’s $5 Bag Day.

Holcomb Crossing Shopping Center
1575 Old Alabama Road
Roswell, GA
(in the same shopping center as Chamberlain’s Chocolate Factory and Omni Fitness)
The sale is held indoors in the organization’s dedicated off-site bookstore space within the shopping center.

You can park anywhere in the shopping center lot and walk directly to the bookstore entrance.
Signage will be posted throughout the shopping center, directing shoppers to the sale location.
Items are organized by category for easy browsing, including:
- Fiction (alphabetized by author)
- Nonfiction (grouped by subject, including but not limited to cookbooks, biography, history, travel, gardening, art, religion, hobby, how to, sociology, self-help, humor, and more)
- Children’s books (board books through young adult)
- Vintage and collectible books
- DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks
Pricing info
- Mass market paperbacks are 5 for $1
- Prolific authors (including hardback) are 3 for $1
- Fiction and non-fiction trade paperback books $1
- Fiction and non-fiction hardback books $2
- Children’s books range from 3 for $1 to $2 (board books and picture books are on the lower price range – otherwise the standard paperback $1 and hardback $2 pricing applies).
- Specialty and collectible books may be priced individually.
$5 Bag Day (Sunday Only)
On Sunday, March 8th, you can purchase a bag provided by the bookstore and fill it with as many books as can fit for $5 per bag.
Bags are provided on-site.
These are standard-sized plastic shopping bags (like grocery bags).
The books you can get for $5 total must all fit inside the bag.
You can not use your own bag for this promotion, unless it is a Friends of East Roswell Library reusable bag.
You can also purchase a Friends of East Roswell Library reusable bag for $1 (these hold more books than the plastic grocery bag).
