FREE outdoor concerts, movies, and food trucks — at Newtown park.

This summer, there are many FREE and family-friendly events happening at Newtown Park, in Johns Creek, including family-friendly movies and live music. 

There will be food trucks on site at most events. You can also pack a a picnic meal — but no alcohol is allowed.

You’ll find all the details below, for outdoor movies and summer concerts.

Newtown Park is located at 3150 Old Alabama Rd.

2023 Events at Newtown Park

Summer Concert Series

The concerts take place at Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at Newtown Park.
They are FREE to attend.

Food trucks will be on-site, with beer and wine available for purchase.

The gates open at 6 p.m. so you can set up and get settled.
Music begins at 7 p.m.

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring your own blankets or chairs.

These are rain-or-shine events. You can bring umbrellas, but no tents or canopies are allowed. The concert may be delayed or canceled if there is lightning or severe weather.

No outside alcohol is allowed.
Pets are not allowed.

Movies at Newtown Park

This is a free summer outdoor series of family-friendly movies, presented on a huge inflatable screen. There will be food trucks on site.

The show starts at dusk. Admission is FREE.

Come early for pre-show fun! Starting at 7 p.m., you’ll find inflatables, face painting, live music, and other children’s activities that will vary by date.

Gates open at 7. The movie starts at dusk.
The movies are all PG or PG-13.
