Looking for a free & fun way to ring in the New Year? Head to the New Year’s Eve Bash at the Battery Atlanta.
The New Year’s Eve fun at The Battery Atlanta begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Plaza. The early innings festivities are geared toward families. There’ll be performances by the Heavy Hitters, Fear No Ice (a high-energy chainsaw ice sculpture artist) and Jim Maltman (a circus performer), plus BLOOPER will be on hand as Braves in-game host Mark Owens counts down until inflatable baseballs drop at 8:00 p.m. on December 31, 2018.
Starting at 9:00 p.m., the late innings festivities get underway with performances by Fear No Ice & 12South Band on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage.
And 2019 will get started with a bang–There’ll be confetti & a fireworks display as the clock strikes midnight.
Free parking is available in all public parking decks (Red, Green and Purple Decks) starting at 4:00 p.m. If you need to leave your car there over night in order to get home safely, you can, just make sure you get back by noon on January 1, 2019, to pick it up from the parking lot.
