On Monday, January 19, 2026, Clayton County will host a Martin Luther King Day parade and celebration, presented by the City of College Park Recreation & Cultural Arts Department.
Everything is FREE to attend.
The MLK Day Parade takes place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, featuring marching groups, music, and decorated floats honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Parade Route:
1630 Phoenix Boulevard to 5517 West Fayetteville Road.
Immediately following the parade, you can enjoy the post-parade celebration from noon to 3 p.m., at the Tracey Wyatt Recreation Center.
The event features live music, a vendor fair, and family-friendly activities — including:
Vendor Fair& Kids Zone: noon to 3 p.m.
Music on the Lawn: noon to 3 p.m.
This free community event brings neighbors together in unity, reflection, and celebration.
