
Get ready for the inaugural Virginia Highland Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday, February 7, 2026, packed with beads, bites, and Bourbon Street vibes right in the heart of Atlanta.
The spirit of New Orleans will come to VaHi with a high-energy parade, flavorful food fest, and an epic after party.

Parade
The parade begins at noon.
It will feature up to 20 floats and groups, from walkers and bikers to wagons and decorated vehicles.
The route is approximately 0.5 miles along Virginia Avenue, starting at the intersection with Arcadia Street and ending at North Highland Avenue.
After party
The party goes from 1 to 4 p.m. and is FREE to attend. It takes place in the parking lot behind Fontaine’s Oyster Bar.
The area will become a festive fĂȘte with a live music featuring Wasted Potential Brass Band.
You’ll also find local vendors, face painting, and plenty of beads, beats, and brews.
Entrances to the party are located through the Barbacoa alley and next to Paper Source.
