LegoLand Discovery Center Atlanta is like the world’s biggest box of LEGO blocks, with tons of activities for hours of fun. If you’re looking for something cheap to do with the kids, there are a couple of ways to save on admission! Details below.
At LegoLand, kids ages 3 to 10 and their families can become a part of the story in 4D films, ride the Kingdom Quest and Merlin’s Apprentice rides, learn building tips and tricks from a master LEGO builder and join a pirate crew on Pirate Adventure Island. And new activities are opening all the time, so you there are always new adventures to be found.
For the wee ones, there’s the LEGO City Construction Site, a fun soft play area for younger builders. Take a break to refuel in the cafe, and shop for souvenirs in the LegoLand Discovery Center Shop.
A typical visit takes two to three hours, but you’re welcome to stay as long as you’d like.
Located inside Phipps Plaza in Buckhead, LegoLand Discovery Center offers free parking and is a quick MARTA ride from any station — just exit at Lenox Station and walk across the street.
FREE admission for healthcare professionals
If you work in healthcare, you can enjoy a FREE visit to the LegoLand Discovery Center between January 12th and February 9th, 2020. Plus, you can get 25% off admission for up to six guests — including your kids, another family member, or even a friend.
This special promotion was planned in honor of Healthcare Professionals Appreciation Month.
NOTE that it is only available on walk-up tickets — you cannot redeem it online.
Please bring a valid employment ID or a pay stub with your name, job title, and place of employment.
The Groupon discount
Thanks to a Groupon offer, you can buy a single-day admission voucher for just $14.97 — that’s 40% off the regular price for advance online purchase, and an even bigger savings of the $30 price at the door.
The deal includes entry to all rides, exhibits, and movies. Children aged 2 and under are always free.
The voucher is good on any day LegoLand is open, through May 30, 2020.
After that, the promotional value has expired, but the cash value is good forever.
This could be a good deal to buy for a Winter Break activity — or even for Spring Break, which is April 4th through 12th on the Atlanta Public Schools 2020 calendar, as well as Fulton County, Cobb County, and Dekalb County school calendars.
