Kennesaw holiday events: Tree lighting, free pics with Santa, parade, menorah lighting, more

The city of Kennesaw kicks off the holiday season with its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 6 p.m.
The event takes place at Depot Park and is FREE to attend.
Enjoy choir performances, festive music, and a visit from Santa. (Bring your camera!)
The tree lights up at 7 p.m.

Depot Park Holiday Extravaganza
Depot Park transforms into a glowing winter wonderland with more than 100,000 lights, including a sparkling tunnel, towering toy soldiers, and a festive sleigh—perfect for seasonal photo ops.
The Holiday Extravaganza runs from December 1 through January 11.

Kennesaw Holly Days Parade & pictures with Santa
Families can enjoy a festive day with the Kennesaw Holly Days Parade and Santa on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. and features floats, marching bands, and plenty of holiday cheer. This free, family-friendly event takes place in Downtown Kennesaw.
After the parade, head to Depot Park for holiday photos with Santa.
Free Walk-Up Photos: Available from 12:30–2:30 PM.
Space is limited, and photos are not guaranteed after 2:30 PM.
Reserved Photo Sessions: $15 per session includes a 4–5 minute visit with Santa and a digital photo download. Registration opens November 1. Only one person per family (up to 8 people) needs to register. Please bring a printed or digital receipt for check-in.

Menorah Lighting
Join the City of Kennesaw, in partnership with Chabad of Kennesaw, for the Menorah Lighting at the Main Street Plaza on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
