Chick-fil-A invented Cow Appreciation Day as part of its clever advertising campaign. The day is usually observed during the second week of July — this year, it lands on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
You can score a FREE entree at any participating Chick-fil-A location simply by dressing like a cow.
No other purchase is necessary.
You can claim your freebie for dine-in, carry out, or thru the drive-thru window — from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Limit one free entree per person.
Your costume doesn’t have to be elaborate, and even cow-like accessories will qualify. Black and white spots seem to be the key.
