Looking for a reason to venture east and tap into Atlanta’s growing indie music scene without breaking the bank?
Look no further than Little Tree Art Studios in Avondale Estates, where gothic indie Americana band Del Roscoe is set to release their debut album this August.
Tucked inside the creative heart of the Rail Arts District (you know it as RAD), Little Tree Art Studios is already home to over 40 artists in different disciplines and now, it’s about to host one of the most heartfelt music events of the summer with Del Roscoe’s album release party.
But here’s the best deal – Del Roscoe is offering a chance to win free tickets to the release party, and a few lucky folks will also snag a vinyl or CD copy of the album.
Not feeling lucky?
Tickets for the release party are only $10 and you can purchase them here. It’s happening on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30) at Little Tree Art Studios.
So if you love music, art, or just vibing with the Eastside’s artsy energy, this is your cue to show up and soak it in. And yes, bring a friend, because local musicians Blake Rainey and Sid Jerr-Dan will each perform solo before Del Roscoe takes the stage.

More Than Music: Stories You Can Feel in Every Note
The band’s name comes from the two dogs who travel with them—Del and Roscoe—symbols of loyalty and the road-worn spirit that defines their music. They blend folk, outlaw country, and rock into a cinematic, emotionally-charged sound. With haunting melodies, layered harmonies, and evocative lyrics, their songs explore themes of distance, memory, and resilience.

The first two single releases are already tugging at heartstrings — “A Few More Miles” and “Train Train.” Both are now streaming on all major platforms, and both cut deeper than your average playlist filler.
“A Few More Miles” feels like a quiet sigh, the kind you breathe out when life’s caught up with you. It’s a song about aging, about reckoning with your past and about the emotional detours along the way.
But “Train Train” is the one that hits close to home. Written during the final months of band member Robert Lee’s father’s life, it’s a meditation on letting go with dignity and grace.
The album itself was recorded right around the corner at Electron Gardens Studio, located in the same RAD neighborhood that seems to pulse with creativity. It’s also where Methane Studios, Robert Lee’s design and illustration company, lives and thrives. This is proof that this part of town is as much about inspiration as it is innovation.

Music Meets Community on Atlanta’s Eastside
Del Roscoe is also building the community while also playing some music. Robert, along with fellow bandmates Yanaelle and Matt McKenny, helped bring to life WigWag, a free annual art and music festival held right in the neighborhood. In fact, Robert was the driving force behind the event, and the owners of Little Tree played a big part in making it all happen.
So, when you head to their album release party this August, you’re not just hearing a band, you’re hearing the heartbeat of a community that believes in music, art, and shared spaces.
And in a city where concerts can run you $100 or more, it’s nice to know some things are still beautiful, meaningful, and cheap. Get your tickets for the release party here for just $10.
