Dekalb County Animal Services is holding a Spay-a-Thon to help Dekalb residents get their dogs and cats spayed, neutered, and vaccinated.
Spots are limited, so sign up soon.
And PLEASE only sign up if you truly can’t afford to pay for these services at a low-cost clinic on you own.
This program has limited funds and can only help DeKalb residents who are truly in need. |
Sadly, the number of unwanted pets is at an extremely high level in DeKalb County.
Dates are December 1st and 8th, 2025.
We don’t know the drop-off location for pets, but you’ll receive that info in an email after you sign up.
It’s likely the surgeries will be performed at the Lifeline Animal Proj

Things to know
Both cats and dogs are included in this program.
Your dog can be fixed as early as 8 weeks of age and your cat as early as 10 weeks.
Senior pets (7+ years) may require pre-operative testing prior to surgery day to ensure they are healthy enough to undergo spay/neuter surgery.
This program is NOT for feral cats.
Spay/neuter can keep your pets healthier, reduce the chance of certain cancers, and curb certain undesirable behaviors (like spraying in male cats).
