Covington’s Black History Month Parade takes place on Feb. 28th

The city of Covington will hold its annual Black History Month Parade on Saturday, February 28, 2026. 
It is FREE to attend. 

It starts at 10 a.m. at Legion Field and will travel through downtown Covington, lasting till approximately noon. 

Prior to the parade, enjoy performances on the Square, starting around 9:30 a.m., from the Washington Street Community Choir and music by members from the Newton County Senior Citizens Center.
Parade is rain or shine.
