The event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Atherton Square Park in downtown Marietta.

This unusual event is set against the backdrop of a glowing campfire, as participants listen to stories that explore local lore, tall tales, and myths — including the likes of Sasquatch, Mothman, Skunk Ape, Wendigo, and more.
Bring your camp chairs.
Grab a hot drink from Cool Beans, or an adult beverage from a local restaurant within the Open Container District.
According to the website, this mini festival is one at which you never know what you are going to get.
This year, the evening kicks off at 6 p.m. with Cryptid Trivia and a Cryptid Puppet-making craft.
At 8 p.m., you can enjoy Mr. Damon’s Shadow Puppet Show.
