Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration held on May 5th. It commemorates the anniversary of Mexico’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla, in 1862.

Today in the United States, Cinco de Mayo is largely a day to eat, drink, and make merry, while celebrating Mexican heritage and culture.

This indoor/outdoor event takes place at the High Street greenspace and inside Agave Bandido restaurant. On Saturday, bring the little ones to the Kid Zone, with face painting, a bounce house, and more (noon to 4 p.m.)
Also: live performances, outdoor popup bar, photo booth, snack stations, DJ, and more.

Sunday, May 5 — noon to closing time

Two old standbys, HOBNOB and Eclipse di Luna are teaming up to bring this party to Halcyon, a mixed-use complex in Alpharetta.
This indoor/outdoor event spills over onto the central green space.
Outdoors, you’ll find satellite bars serving Cinco de Mayo cocktails, cotton candy station, popsicle bar, popcorn machine, a DJ, and more.
HOBNOB is offering $7 margaritas all weekend, and a pig roast on Saturday.
Admission is FREE, but reserve a table soon if you’d like a seated meal.
