[exp] [/exp]This weekend, the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival returns to Blackburn Park.
On March 24 & 25, 2018, there’ll be an Arts & Crafts Market, live music, a Children’s Village, & more, plus the cherry blossom trees should be starting to bloom.
If you’re heading out for the music, here’s the lineup:
Saturday, March 24
- 2:00 p.m.: Transviolet
- 3:00 p.m.: Keith Anderson
- 4:45 p.m.: Craig Morgan
Sunday, March 25
- 1:00 p.m.: Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones
- 2:45 p.m.: Edwin McCain
- 4:30 p.m.: Five For Fighting
Car geeks should plan to drive out on Saturday. From 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., you can check out classic & custom cars & trucks at the Classic Car Show.
Got pets? Bring them with you (requires a 6-foot non-retractable leash). You can watch stunt dog shows or check out demonstrations in the Pet World all weekend long. Plus there’ll be a Pet Parade on Sunday (lineup begins at 1:30 p.m.), and your furry friend can compete in the Pet Costume Contest.
Blackburn Park is located at 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Rd., Brookhaven. Free parking with shuttle service is available at Marist School, Montgomery Elementary School, Ashford Green, Brookhaven Marta Station, & Perimeter Summit.
