Belk (the department store) is hosting a series of FREE virtual events during Black History Month.
The series is called For the Culture, and it includes everything from African American literature to make-up tips for black skin. They take place each Thursday evening in February, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Tales of Affirmation Reading Session
Tales of Affirmation Reading Session is a live, virtual reading session creating to uplift, encourage and empower. The event will feature special guest speakers who will read pieces of literature to inspire all ages.
There will be a Q&A session as well.
It takes place Thursday, February 4th, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Mental Health Matters
Mental Health Matters is a live, virtual panel discussion with tips and resources on the importance of mental health and wellness for the Black community.
