Oscars 2023: Where to stream the Best Picture nominees or see the Best Picture nominees in the theater.
The 95th annual Academy Awards ceremony will be televised on Sunday, March 12, 2023. If you’re feeling left out of the Oscar buzz, now’s the time to catch up on the films nominated for awards in major categories — including Best Picture.
This year, three different cinema chains are showcasing the nominated films on the big screen. Some are offering a real deal on tickets. We’re listing the details and prices for each chain.
The metro Atlanta theater chains hosting the Oscar nominees include:
• AMC Theatres
• Regal Cinemas
• Marcus Theatres
And at the bottom of this page, we tell you which streaming services have each of these ten films.
The Best Picture nominees are:
- All Quiet on the Western Front
- The Banshees of Inisherin
- Avatar: The Way of Water
- Elvis
- Everything Everwhere All at Once
- The Fabelmans
- Tar
- Triangle of Sadness
- Top Gun: Maverick
- Women Talking
You can view a complete list of all Oscar-nominated films in all categories online, courtesy of Hollywood Reporter.

The three programs below allow you to see these films in the theater, on the big screen, with surround sound.
Keep in mind that most of the nominated films are also available to stream — and we have all that info listed at the bottom of this page!
AMC Best Picture Showcase
There’s a whole new format for AMC Theatres’ Best Picture Showcase this year. In 2023, you won’t fight the usual marathon screening sessions like they hosted before the pandemic. Instead, AMC is spreading out showings of the nominated films over six weeks.
The showcase runs from Friday, January 27th through Sunday, March 12th, 2023.
There is no formal film festival schedule. You’ll have to check your local listings to find showings near you — and we have a handy list of Best Picture nominees just above.
As of now, the AMC showcase includes nine of the 10 Best Picture nominees.
It does NOT include All Quiet on the Western Front. If that changes, we’ll update.
Some of the films fall under AMC’s $5 Fan Faves, which means tickets are just $5.
For the other films, regular ticket prices apply.
BUT, you can also take advantage of AMC’s Discount Tuesdays to see the nominated films for just $5.
Regal Cinemas’ Best Picture Film Festival
Regal Cinemas is hosting its 2023 Best Picture Film Festival from March 3rd to 12th, 2023.
Tickets are $6.
If you’re a member of the Regal Crown Club, you can enjoy $5 tickets and a $7 small popcorn & drink combo.
The nominated films are available at select theaters.
We have the nationwide schedule for the film festival, but you’ll have to check your local theater for exact show times.

There are 2 participating Atlanta theaters this year.
This is the bad news — there are only two participating locations in metro Atlanta — down from 5 theaters in 2020. You can find other participating theaters nationwide.
Regal Mall of Georgia
3333 Buford Dr
(Buford)
Regal Avalon
3952 First St

Marcus Theatres’ Best Picture Showcase
We only have three theaters from this chain in metro Atlanta — located in Suwanee, Roswell, and Tucker.
Only Roswell Cinema is participating in the 2023 Best Picture Showcase, which goes from February 24th to March 12th, 2023.
New this year is a Best Picture Passport for $40, which lets you see the whole showcase for one price. It also gets you 20% OFF all food and drinks.
You can also buy individual tickets for just the films you want to see.
This showcase includes all ten Best Picture nominees, PLUS the nominees for Best Short Films (Live Action) and Best Short Films (Animation).
Note that we looked at the website for Roswell Cinema and don’t yet see any showtimes for the Oscar-nominated films. We expect they’ll be added to the schedule soon.
Roswell Cinema is located at:
4651 Woodstock Road
Roswell, GA 30075
