America 250 Celebration in downtown Lawrenceville on August 1st, featuring a drone light show

The City of Lawrenceville will host America 250, a day-long celebration honoring 250 years of history, on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from noon to 10 p.m.

The event is FREE and family-friendly. 
It includes:

• live music
• theater
• storytelling
• historical reenactments
• hands-on activities for families
• international food vendors
• drone light show
• art exhibits
• scavenger hunt 

The celebration will take place throughout Downtown Lawrenceville — the Lawrenceville Lawn, Gwinnett Courthouse, Lawrenceville Arts Center, Isaac Adair House, Hooper-Renwick Library, and more. 

The evening concludes with a performance by the Lawrenceville Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m., followed by a spectacular drone show at dusk.
