Atlanta Christkindl Market announced it will add a second location in 2026, bringing the event to metro Atlanta’s southside for the first time ever.
The market will be in both Lawrenceville and Senoia this holiday season.
Following the tremendous success of last year’s move to Lawrenceville, the Atlanta Christkindl Market will debut its new Senoia location on Black Friday, November 27, 2026, marking the first time the traditional German market has been held on metro Atlanta’s Southside.
The Lawrenceville market will open November 20, 2026, the Friday before Thanksgiving.
Both markets will remain open through Christmas Eve, with FREE admission for all visitors.
Since 2016, the Atlanta Christkindl Market has introduced generations of families to the centuries-old German Christmas market tradition through authentic food, handcrafted gifts, artisan vendors and festive holiday entertainment.
About the two markets
The Lawrenceville market will once again transform the Lawrenceville Lawn into one of the Southeast’s largest Christmas markets.
It is expected to feature approximately 100 booths representing 70 to 80 vendors, creating a lively holiday destination complete with a large entertainment stage, the market’s signature 112-foot Ferris wheel, a children’s activity area, and visits with Santa on select dates.
By contrast, the new Senoia market is designed to embrace the city’s small-town character.
Located just off historic Main Street in a tree-lined setting, the market will feature approximately 50 booths with about 35 carefully curated vendors, creating a cozy, storybook atmosphere.
In Senoia, a traditional 15- to 20-foot German Christmas pyramid will serve as the market’s welcoming centerpiece, inviting guests to stroll through an intimate collection of artisan vendors while exploring one of Georgia’s most picturesque downtowns.
While each location will have its own personality, visitors can expect the same authentic German holiday traditions at both markets.
Many favorite vendors will participate in both locations, offering handcrafted ornaments, holiday décor, jewelry, toys and gifts alongside traditional German specialties including chimney cakes, bratwurst, roasted nuts, hot chocolate and Glühwein.
Each market will also feature local artisans unique to its community, giving guests a reason to visit both destinations throughout the holiday season.
