
The Annual Cherokee County Mother’s Day PowWow & Indian Festival takes place on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Boling Park in Canton.
This is a weekend of culture, tradition, education, and family fun at one of North Georgia’s longest-running cultural festivals.
There is a fee to attend — see ticket prices below.
You’ll experience a vibrant Native American cultural celebration featuring Native American dance exhibitions with creative dancers & educators, including a special Mother’s Day Honor Dance.
Festival hours:
Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Family activities and experiences include:
• Primitive skills demonstrations
• Fire-by-friction
• Native arts & crafts
• Basketry & leather work
• Tipis and historical displays
• Pony rides
• Kids activities including train rides and more
Tickets are available at the gate.
Adults (13+) – $15
Children (6–12) – $5
5 & under – FREE
Weekend Pass – $20
