The program opens with Ruth Kern YAC 2025 Winner Elizabeth Milan, our Featured Artist, performing the Andante from Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major by Florence Price, bringing grace, nuance, and expressive clarity to this lyrical work.

About the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra:
The orchestra is composed of musicians of all age groups from the Atlanta area who perform on a volunteer basis. Membership is comprised of a diverse range of musicians, including advanced music students, dedicated amateurs, freelance performers, current and former professional musicians, and music educators—many of whom teach at the elementary, high school, and collegiate levels.
