Free Earth Day celebration for families at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve this Saturday

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve will hold its annual Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The event is FREE to attend and family-friendly. 

Kids and parents are invited to participate in interactive activities that showcase sustainability and environmental preservation — in a fun way. 

Located in Johns Creek, Autrey Mill Preserve is a welcoming destination for families, school groups, seniors, and nature lovers.

You can walk on shady trails, watch for native wildlife in the wetlands, and even get a glimpse of times past by visiting the historic buildings that were moved to the preserve to protect the stories of the local farmers who shaped the area. 

Best of all, Autrey Mill Nature Preserve is one of those local gems that is ALWAYS FREE to visit — although donations are welcome. 

The Earth Day celebration will feature many of the community partners who are making a difference through their sustainability programs.
