FREE! The Wildlife Expo in Canton features animal demonstrations and more this weekend

The Mill on Etowah, located in Canton, will host a FREE Wildlife Expo on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2026. 
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days. 

This event is billed as the ultimate celebration of Georgia’s great outdoors — featuring wildlife and outdoor recreation. 

Whether you’re a nature lover, outdoor adventurer, or simply looking for a weekend of family fun, there’s something here for everyone.

Featured activities include:

• Safari Stage Show
• Dixie DockDog Diving – watch these canine athletes make a splash
• Petting Zoo – get hands-on close to wildlife
• Birds of Prey Demonstration – learn about falconry
• Kayak Angler Fishing Demonstration – these anglers will show their skill
• Live Music on Saturday – performances by The Band Waleska and Greg Shaddix & the Backrow Baptists
• Hunting Dog Demonstration – be wowed by their skills
• Vendor booths – featuring food, artisanal craft, outdoor gear, and more 
• Kids Zone – featuring a rock climbing wall, axe throwing, bungee trampoline and more

Saturday music schedule:
5:30 pm –  Greg Shaddix and the Back Row Baptists
7:00 pm –  The Band Waleska
