The 5th annual Blackout Open Mic Night and pop-up market takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
Admission is FREE.
This year, the event has a new location.
Instead of the Aurora Theatre, it takes place at two venues on the Lawrenceville:
Scrum-did-dly-ump-tious and Truck & Tap.
BLACKOUT is a FREE celebration of culture, creativity, and commerce — featuring local performers and Black-owned businesses. It is truly an uplifting event.
NEW this year is a game event, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Scrum-did-dly-ump-tious.
Bring your favorite board game, or browse the selection on hand.
The Pop-Up Vendor Market goes from 4 to 7 p.m.
It features local Black-owned businesses, and it’s the perfect way to find new products and build community with new faces.
The open mic event goes from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and may include mature content.
