Celebrate the Year of the Horse in 2026!
The Lunar New Year begins on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
If you were born in 2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954, or 1942, after the Lunar New Year (late January or early February) you were born in the Year of the Horse.
In connection with the Chinese Lunar New Year, there will be festivals, cultural events, and traditional music and food all around Atlanta. These are a handful of events that are free or affordable. Most are family-friendly.
