Darn, this deal has expired.

swaptember 2013I have memberships to a few attractions around the Atlanta area. I love ‘em, and they more than pay for themselves because we actually use them. And next month, they’re worth even more.

September is Swaptember. During the month of September, if you’re a member of a participating venue, you can use your membership card to save up to $10 on a membership at other participating Atlanta-area attractions:

  • Atlanta Contemporary Art Center
  • Atlanta History Center
  • Booth Western Art Museum
  • Callaway Gardens
  • Center for Puppetry Arts
  • Fernbank Museum of Natural History
  • Georgia Aquarium
  • High Museum of Art
  • The Children’s Museum of Atlanta
  • Legoland Discovery Center
  • Michael C. Carlos Museum
  • Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia
  • Museum of Design Atlanta
  • Oglethorpe University Museum of Art
  • Piedmont Park Conservancy
  • Tellus Science Museum (excluding Student/Educator level)
  • Zoo Atlanta

As always, each venue may have tiny-type restrictions, and you’ll need to present a current membership card for one of the venues to save at the rest.

FYI–One of my current memberships is about to expire, and I plan to use the Swaptember deal when I renew. It may vary by venue, but I’ve never had an issue getting the Swaptember deal when I renew my membership at a participating venue during Swaptember & show a membership card for a different attraction.

  1. We have three kids and this past year we did the Fern Bank Membership. What memberships do you use most or would recommend? We are still fairly new to the Atl and have not been to all the museums with our 7yr old, 5 yr old and 1 yr old.

  2. As a family, we’ve used our Atlanta Zoo & Atlanta Botanical Garden memberships most….wide open spaces, lots of room to run & play, fun things to see/do. ~Jenn
