1) There’s now a mobile version of Atlanta on the Cheap. You can find it one of three ways: www.atlantaonthecheap.mobi, m.atlantaonthecheap.com, or mobi.atlantaonthecheap.com. I’m in the process of tracking down a switcher, but until then, think “mobi” & you’ll find it.

Through September 29, you can check out a Japanese Embroidery exhibition at the Ferst Center for the Arts. The works, which were embroidered by local students and professionals at the Japanese Embroidery Center, demonstrate the Nuido—“The Way of Embroidery”—“a combination of “art and ‘spirit’ as expressed in silk and gold thread.”
