atlbg lights grouponI’ve been to Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden several times, and it’s a fixture on my “must do this holiday season” to-do list. But now the Atlanta Botanical Garden has a reason for me to head out after dark this summer, too.

Bruce Munro: Light in the Garden will be on view through October 3, 2015, and it sounds like it’s a gorgeous exhibition. Per the summary: “Bruce Munro: Light in the Garden features unique installations created from hundreds of miles of optic fiber. Munro, a British artist internationally acclaimed for his use of light as an artistic medium, transforms the Garden with imaginative, luminous works of art. Light is a site-specific exhibition and the largest by the artist in the Southeast. ‘This show will be something unlike any other that Atlantans have experienced,’ says Garden President & CEO Mary Pat Matheson. ‘At dusk, the Garden will become this enchanting landscape that visitors just have to see to believe.'”

The downside is that even Garden members are required to purchase a ticket. The upside is that you can get discount tickets, no coupon code required.

Tickets to Bruce Munro: Light in the Garden are regularly $22.95 for adults & $15.95 for kids ages 3-12 on Peak Nights (Friday & Saturday). On Non-Peak Nights (Wednesday, Thursday, & Sunday), admission is $19.95 for adults & $13.95 for kids ages 3-12. Members can get discount tickets for $9.95 for adults & $7.95 for kids ages 3-12; member ticket pricing is the same on Peak & Non-Peak nights. FYI–Garden prices do not include transaction fees or tax.

Want to save a bit without a membership? Through July 31, 2015, you can save 40% on admission to Bruce Munro: Light in the Garden at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, dropping the price to $24 for two people, thanks to a deal on the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Facebook page.

Bruce Munro: Light in the Garden will take place from 6:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. nightly on Wednesdays through Sundays during the run.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is located at 1345 Piedmont Ave. NE in Midtown.
