From February 1-3, 2013, look out for falling objects at the Yaarab Shrine Center and the Academy Theatre in Atlanta, home to the 35th Annual Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival. For much of the festival, you’ll see random jugglers juggling random things. But there are organized events: On Saturday at 2:00 p.m. the juggling competition gets underway; it’s free to watch.
At 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, the Fire-and-Light Extravaganza will take place in the parking lot, followed by a Late-Night cabaret in The Yaarab Shrine Center at 10:00 p.m.—admission to the late-night cabaret is $5, but since the Fire & Light Extravaganza will take place in the parking lot (weather permitting), you can see watch that free, too.
FYI–tickets to the Late-Night Cabaret will likely sell out, so stop by the registration table in the Yaarab Shrine Center to get yours as soon as you get to the festival.
You can stop by & check out the events in the gym at any time. Gym hours are Friday from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., & Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
The Yaarab Shrine is located at 400 Ponce De Leon Avenue NE, Atlanta.
