This looks like an awesome opportunity for teens:
From 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017, high schoolers can head to the Greene Family Education Center at the High Museum of Art for a free Open Studio event.
During Open Studio events, teens can get creative while working with a variety of materials, from charcoal & paint to metal & fabric. The projects vary each month, so be prepared to experiment. Teen Team members and Shannon Mulkey Green, founder of the Indie Craft Experience, will be around to lend a hand.
Can’t make it? Mark your calendars for one of the the next Open Studio events, which take place on the first Friday of the month. Upcoming Open Studio events are scheduled for November 3 & December 1, 2017.
All levels & groups are welcome, but Open Studio events are open to high school students only.
The High Museum of Art is located at 1280 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta.
