From March 9-24, 2013, The Atlanta Preservation Center will present The Phoenix Flies: A City-Wide Celebration of Living Landmarks.
There’s too much going on for me to give you the complete list, but I can tell you that there’ll be more than 170 free events at dozens of Atlanta’s historic sites during the two-week period. Most will require you to RSVP to attend, so please follow the directions on The Phoenix Flies’ website.
I try to make it to a couple of The Phoenix Flies events each year. This year, I think we may go to Oakland Cemetery for the Writers in Residence guided walking tour, take a tour of the Fox Theatre, check out Unseen Underground, & explore Callanwolde Mansion. It’s hard to choose…
