From March 1-30, 2013, the Atlanta Fair will be at Turner Field. Though it’s ridiculously easy to spend a small fortune at any fair, there are plenty of discounts to the Atlanta Fair, from coupons to unlimited rides deals. Here are a few ways to save:
- $12 buys one ticket to the Atlanta Fair and unlimited rides on all of the midway rides, thanks to a deal on Half Off Depot. The voucher is valid on Monday-Friday only, and the vouchers will be for sale for a limited time.
- On Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturday & Sunday afternoons, $25 buys unlimited rides at the Atlanta Fair. You’ll still need to buy a ticket to enter the fair–that’s $1 for kids under age 12 and $5 for adults during the Unlimited Rides sessions (Monday-Thursday from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., Saturday from noon-6:00 p.m., & Sunday from 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.).
- You’ll find discounts and coupons on the Atlanta Fair’s Facebook page from time to time, like this opening night deal: When kids ages 2-11 visit Legoland Discovery Center Atlanta (discounts here), they’ll get a voucher for free entry to opening night on Friday, March 1.
FYI–it’s generally cash only at the main entrance gate, so bring a few bucks to get in the door. Once inside, you can use credit for tickets at the Carnival Midway Ticket office; I’m assuming the vendors & games are still cash-based though. And students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the Atlanta Fair after 6:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday nights.
The Atlanta Fair is located in the Grey Lot at Turner Field, Atlanta. 404-389-7564

Do you know why someone would pay $25 for unlimited rides if it only cost $12 for admission and the unlimited rides? I wonder if there are other rides not covered by the unlimited Midway pass…
Any information would be appreciated.
Mainly because that’s the next best deal, so it’s a good backup if the vouchers sell out.
Also, the Half Off Depot voucher is only valid Mon-Fri, but $25 gives you weekend options, too. It’s the same version of unlimited rides though via the voucher or bought at the fair. ~Jenn
