Due to popular demand, Fly, at The Balzer Theater at Herren’s, has been extended through March 10, 2013.
Per the summary: “The African-American Army Air Corp fighters who flew over the skies of Europe during World War II made historic contributions toward the desegregation of the American military and furthering of civil rights. Travel with these dedicated and determined young men who accepted the challenge to take flight for a country that showed them nothing but adversity on the ground. The Tuskegee Airmen show us what happens when the playing field is truly level.”
Want to see it on the cheap? You’ve got a few ways to get discount tickets to Fly:
- You’ll need to sign up with Goldstar to take advantage of this deal (it’s free to sign up). On the Atlanta page, you’ll find an offer to save almost 50% on tickets to Fly; tickets are available for most performances through February 24, 2013. Unless they sell out sooner (and some dates have sold out), you have until 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013, to get the deal. FYI–There’s a chance that more discount tickets may come available later this month; they just announced the extended run this morning (February 15).
- AtlanTIX has discount tickets to Fly; after fees, it’s one of the higher-priced discount options, so use it as a backup if discount tickets for your preferred date have sold out on Goldstar.
- Tickets are regularly $33 for adults, $27 for seniors & $22 for students. Tickets to select Saturday matinees of Fly are $15-$22 each.
