This week, The Mercantile will host a pair of free wine tastings. From 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, and noon-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, you can sample delicious and affordable wines for 2013. This week features a Pinot Noir.
I don’t think I can make it to this week’s tastings, but I’m adding this event to my calendar for next month: From 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013, The Mercantile will host a free Wine & Chocolates tasting. In addition to sampling wine, you can find out how Amy Stankus of Chocolate South makes her bonbons and sample chocolates & ganache.
ID is required to sample the wines. FYI–There’s a toy box available to occupy your little ones if they need to tag along.
