I, for one, am excited that Blue Man Group is coming back to The Fox. I saw them perform when they came through Atlanta in 2011, and it’s a fun show to see live (though you can get a sneak peek of their unique style of drumming on YouTube). Now that I’ve gone once, I have a better understanding never-nude Tobias’ obsession with them (I miss Arrested Development…), and I’ll be going back tonight.
Want to see the Blue Man Group on the cheap? You’ve got a few ways to save:
- Even though The Fox no longer uses Ticketmaster for its tickets, you can still get Theater of the Stars’ half-price ticket deal (same as the one that used to be available at Publix Ticketmaster outlets, but now with a different procedure). Thanks to the AJC, if you use promo code “AJC” when you order tickets online, you can save 50% on tickets the Tuesday, January 15, & Wednesday, January 16, 2013, performances of The Blue Man Group.
- AtlanTIX has discount tickets available for most performances of the Blue Man Group. The tickets are on sale on the day of the show only or one day in advance for matinees.
- You can purchase “Beanbag Seats” in front of the orchestra pit for $25 each. The first 65 people for each Blue Man Group performance will be able to get the deal; limit two tickets per purchase. Beanbag seats are available for the 8:00 p.m. performances on Friday & Saturday, the 2:00 p.m. performance on Saturday, and the 1:30 p.m. performance on Sunday.
