From January 16-February 10, 2013, Good People will be at the Alliance Theatre.
The quick summary: “Set in South Boston, ‘Southie’ Margie Walsh is living a pay check to pay check existence as a single mom caring for her disabled adult daughter. When Margie is fired from her job, she approaches a high school boyfriend who made it up and out and into his own medical practice for help. She soon realizes that not everyone wants to be reminded of their humble beginnings. Good People wrestles with the question of whether our lot in life is determined by choice or circumstance.”
Want to see it on the cheap? You can save a bit on tickets:
- On PoshDealz, you’ll find discount tickets available for select performances (January 16-20, 2013) of Good People. I expect these to sell out, so act quickly if you want to take advantage of the deal.
- On Goldstar, you’ll find discount tickets available for select performances (January 22-27, 2013) of Good People. Unless they sell out early, the last of the discount tickets will be available through 10:30 a.m. on January 27, 2013.
- For most performances, you can buy $20 Rush tickets on the day of the show. For students with ID, the Rush ticket price drops to $10. Rush tickets go on sale after 5:00 p.m. for evening shows and at noon for matinees. Call before you go to check availability (404-733-5000).
