Darn, this deal has expired.

Don’t miss another. Subscribe to email updates, follow @atlcheap on Twitter, like Atlanta on the Cheap on Facebook, or follow us on Google+. And be sure check the calendar for the latest deals.

I’d like to make it out to this event:

From 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2013, the Atlanta History Center will host a free Three Kings Day (Dia de Reyes) festival, held in collaboration with the Mexican Consulate and the Instituto de Mexico.

What can you see? You’ll learn about this Hispanic holiday’s traditions through music, live performances, traditional treat, and other fun activities designed for the entire family, and there’ll be a live nativity, too. Though the event is free, it does NOT include museum admission.

Want to check out the museum while you’re there? You’ve got a few ways to save:

  • If you have a 2013 Entertainment book, you’ll find a BOGO coupon on page E58 of the 2013 edition. The online edition includes a bonus BOGO coupon (valid for 14 days once you hit print); I could access the online coupons as soon as I ordered my book.
  • If you’re planning to visit multiple attractions in Atlanta, take advantage of the Atlanta CityPASS to save almost 50% on admission to five Atlanta-area attractions. The Georgia Aquarium ticket includes a Deepo Pass with Expedited Entry, Deepo’s 4-D theater, and the Dolphin Tales show (based on availability). The World of Coca-Cola ticket includes admission, the 4-D theatre, and a free keepsake bottle from the museum. Other attractions included are Inside CNN Studio Tour, Fernbank (includes IMAX, too) OR High Museum of Art, and Zoo Atlanta (includes All-Rides Wristband) OR Atlanta History Center. It’s valid for nine days, and if you plan it right, you’ll have two full weekends + the weekdays in between to get to all of the attractions.

The Atlanta History Center is located at 130 West Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta. 404-814-4000.
