It’s almost the first Saturday of the month, which means it’s time for the Ponce Crush Art Stroll.
Ponce Crush connects three galleries around Ponce–Young Blood, Kibbee, & Beep Beep (locations are conveniently marked on the Ponce Crush Google map).
From 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. on January 5, 2013, you can check out the following exhibitions:
- Beep Beep Gallery’s exhibition, “Day Glow Night Mare,” is a neo-psychedelic group show featuring works by Sean Abrahams, Kelly Cloninger, Lucha Rodriguez, Allen Taylor, & Paco Vergachette.
- Kibbee Gallery’s exhibition, “Living Things,” features a collection of animal-themed work by Aaron Artrip and Chris Neuenschwander.
- Young Blood Gallery is currently in transition. Through January 6, 2013, you can save 40% on everything in the shop. After that date, the gallery will close for a month and then reopen on February 2, 2013, with new owners: Rebecca Hanna (a current employee), Jessie White (a longtime supporter), and Erica Jamison (executive director of the nonprofit MINT Gallery). They’ll be open until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, so make it your first stop during this month’s Ponce Crush so you don’t miss out on an excellent deal.
