If you’re looking for ways to get creative on the cheap, you’ve got a few options this week:
- On Saturday, January 5, 2013, kids can build a birdhouse during the free kids’ workshop at Home Depot. The workshop takes place from 9:00 a.m.-noon, and kids leave with their project, a free kid’s orange apron, commemorative pin, & certificate of achievement.
- From 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on January 5, 2013, stop by participating Michaels locations for a free personalized storage demonstration.
- From 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on January 5, stop by participating Pottery Barn locations for the Spring Collection Open House.
- From 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on January 5, stop by participating Pottery Barn Kids locations for the Spring Open House.
- At 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays in January, participating Pottery Barn Kids locations will host Snow Day Craft Workshops. The craft kits cost $5 each, and the event starts after the free 11:00 a.m. storytime.
- From 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, kids can make a Picture This! photo frame during the free craft event at Lakeshore Learning Stores.
- On Sunday, January 6, head to Williams-Sonoma for a free Eat Well Through the Winter class. RSVP at your local store.
