From January 10-February 17, 2013, Actor’s Express’ Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson will be at The King Plow Arts Center.
Since I’m intrigued by the premise, I suspect I’ll make time to see how this plays out on stage. Per the summary: “Andrew F**king Jackson screeches into town to turn it up and turn you on. This hilarious, sexy explosion of rock-and-roll re-imagines our nation’s seventh president as a rock-god badass maverick who fights for the common man, wrestles the country away from Native Americans–and looks hot in a pair of skinny jeans. Uproarious and provocative, it’s a theatrical thrill ride that will rock your world.”

- Thanks to a deal on Goldstar, you can save almost 50% on tickets to select performances of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Unless they sell out early, the last of the discount vouchers will be available until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013.
- Tickets are regularly $26-$47 each. But you can pay what you can if you head out for the Director’s Rough Cut performance at 8:00 p.m. on January 9, 2013. And tickets are $15 each to the 8:00 p.m. preview performances of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson on January 10 & 11, 2013.
