This weekend, those who fear no apocalypse have decided to party:
At 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012, the Atlanta Xmas Apocalypse will take place at 7 Stages Theatre. Per the summary: “The world is coming to an end tonight. Why not spend it with The Little Five Points Rockstar Orchestra? Krampus & Satan are joined by their friends Jesus, Black Jesus, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and some sexy Burlesque ladies for a special holiday concert, as they celebrate their most favorite of all the holidays…The Apocalypse. This year we will celebrate Twisted Sister, Black Sabbath and Spinal Tap, as the world burns around us. Grab some Pabst and rock out with your stocking out.” Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
Assuming we all survive, you can head back on December 22, 2012, for a Post-Apocalyptic Comedy Xmas, featuring Postmodern Collapse and Automatic Improv. $10 buys your ticket to two shows: a sketch show at 8:00 p.m. and an improv show at 10:30 p.m.
