Tonight, November 29, 2012, head to Decatur for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting.
Each year, Krista, manager of Little Shop of Stories (a.k.a. The Girl Who Loves Christmas), drives up to Cartersville to select a tree, brings it back to Decatur, & then has it hoisted up to the roof to add a festive touch to the Square (with the help of others, of course).
The festivities start at 7:00 p.m. Santa will be on hand to lead the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas Tree, plus there’ll be hot chocolate, cookies, and other goodies, and students from Fifth Avenue will sing.
