Whether you’re a veteran or active duty military, one thing is clear–We appreciate your service.
To say “thanks” for serving, quite a few establishments offer Veterans Day freebies & deals. The details vary for each–some are only veterans, others include active military personnel, while a few are open to anyone.
Here are 2012′s Veterans Day deals. I’ll add to the list as more are announced:
- On November 11, 2012, you’ll get fee-free admission to national parks.
- On Sunday, November 11, 2012, veterans & active-duty military with ID and their families will receive a free EXPO admission at ParentsPalooza.
- Admission to the World of Coca-Cola is always free for members of the Armed Forces with ID. But from November 10-18, 2012, they’ll save 50% on tickets for up to four family members or friends.
- From November 10-17, 2012, veterans and military with ID will save 20% on admission for themselves & their families at the Georgia Aquarium.
- Though it’s not a Veterans Day deal, veterans and military with ID receive free admission to the Inside CNN Studio Tour year-round; additional tickets for family members & friends may be purchased for $12 each.
- On November 11-12, 2012, veterans & active military with ID will receive a free Bloomin’ Onion & & Coca-Cola at participating Outback Steakhouse locations, plus they’ll receive a Military Mates 10% off discount from November 13-December 31, 2012.
- On November 11, 2012, veterans & active-duty military with ID will receive a free entrée at participating Olive Garden locations. Free entrée limited to the Veterans Day menu.
- On November 11, 2012, veterans and active-duty military with ID will receive a free entrée at participating Applebee’s locations. Free entrée limited to the Veterans Day menu.
- On November 11, 2012, veterans with ID can get a free classic or signature bagel at participating Einstein Bros. Bagels locations.
- On November 11, 2012, veterans with ID can choose a free entrée at participating McCormick & Schmick’s locations. Free entrée limited to the Veterans Day menu.
- On November 11, veterans and active-duty military with ID will receive a free appetizer at participating Red Lobster locations.
- On November 11, veterans and active-duty military with ID will receive a free Texas Tonion and nonalcoholic beverage at participating LongHorn Steakhouse locations.
- From 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on November 11, 2012, veterans and military with ID will receive free all-you-can-eat pancakes at participating Denny’s locations.
- From 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2012, veterans with ID will receive a free lunch at participating T.G.I. Friday’s locations.
- On November 11 & 12, 2012, veterans & active-duty military with ID will receive a free pizza + nonalcoholic beverage at participating California Pizza Kitchen locations.
- On November 11, 2012, veterans & active-duty military with ID will receive a 10 free boneless wings with drink purchase at participating Hooters locations.
- On Monday, November 12, 2012, veterans & active-duty military with ID will receive a free entrée at Concentrics Restaurants, including ONE. midtown kitchen, TWO urban licks, TAP, Murphy’s, LPC, Lobby Bar and Bistro, ROOM at Twelve, FLIP–Howell Mill, FLIP-Buckhead, The Spence, and HD1.
- From 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on November 11, 2012, members of the military with ID will receive a free American schnitzel sandwich at 7 Hens in North Decatur Plaza, Decatur, plus they’ll receive a 50% off discount from November 11-17, 2012.
- On November 11 & 12, 2012, veterans with ID will receive a free meal up to $25+ with the purchase of another meal at Parker’s on Ponce.
- On November 11, 2012, veterans and military with ID will receive a free doughnut & small coffee at participating Krispy Kreme locations.
- On November 11, 2012, veterans and military with ID will receive a free appetizer with purchase of an entrée at participating Pappadeaux locations.
- On Monday, November 12, 2012, veterans & active-duty military with ID will receive a free entrée from the $9.99er menu at participating O’Charley’s locations.
- On Monday, November 12, 2012, veterans & active-duty military with ID will receive a free lunch at Texas Roadhouse. Free entrée limited to the Veterans Day menu.
- From 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, veterans and active-duty military will receive a free dinner buffet at participating Golden Corral locations.
