If you’re looking for ways to get creative on the cheap, you’ve got a few options this week:

• At 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, you can build a LEGO turkey during the free monthly mini model build event at participating LEGO store locations.
• This week, you can participate in free & cheap crafts & demos at Michaels:
  • 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9: Plaque Demo. Adult-only event.
  • 10:00 a.m.-noon on Saturday, November 10: Yarn Scarf with Craft Smart Yarn Event. Ages 14+.
  • 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10: Wilton Gingerbread House Demo. Adult-only event.
  • 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10: Recollections Creative Chaos. Adult-only event.
  • 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11: Discover Knit & Crochet Class Demo. Ages 14+.
  • 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11: Passport to Imagination: Holiday Ornament Event. Ages 3+.
  • 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11: Sleigh Demo. Adult-only event.
• From 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, kids can make a Flying Fun Airplane Craft during the free craft event at Lakeshore Learning Stores.
• On Sunday & Monday, November 11 & 12, head to Williams-Sonoma for a The Side Show side-dishes class. RSVP at your local store.
• At 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 11, stop by participating Pottery Barn locations for a Decorating Your Home for Holidays event.
• From 10:00 a.m.-noon on Saturday, November 10, stop by participating Pottery Barn Kids locations for a LEGO Nameplate Building event.
• From November 10-December 24, 2012, Santa’s Wonderland returns to participating Bass Pro Shops locations. There’ll be free crafts, free photos with Santa, free games & activities, & more.
• On Veterans Day Weekend, November 10-12, 2012, you’ll get fee-free admission to national parks.
