I just checked the list, and Little Shop of Stories has several fun events planned for the next few weeks:

  • Tuesday, October 23, 7:00 p.m., at Toco Hills Library: Event with David Abrams, author of Fobbit, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the real Iraq war.
  • Thursday, October 25, 7:00 p.m.: Little Shop Players will perform Avi’s Not Seeing Is Believing. The acting troupe stars local children–even the director is a 6th-grader.
  • Saturday, October 27, 7:00 p.m., at Presser Hall at Agnes Scott College: Event with Christopher Paolini, author of the Inheritance series, which began with Eragon. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and seating is one a first-come, first-steated basis.
  • Saturday, October 27, 1:00 p.m.: Signing with Matthew Reinhart, author of Star Wars: A Galactic Pop-Up Adventure.
  • Sunday, October 28, 3:00 p.m.: Halloween Storytime featuring Elizabeth Dulemba, author of Lula’s Brew. Costumes encouraged. After the storytime, you can take part in the Homegrown Parade on the Decatur Square. The parade starts at 4:00 p.m.

Little Shop of Stories is located at 133 A East Court Square, Decatur. 404-373-6300
