And be sure check the calendar for the latest deals.If you’re a fan of concerts & baseball, this is the deal for you: During the 2011 Braves Summer Concert Series you can stick around for a free post-game concert (free = if you go to the game, you can stay for a free concert). At the moment, the schedule includes Montgomery Gentry on June 19 & The B-52s on July 16. I’ll keep you posted as other bands are announced; when I attended The Avett Brothers concert earlier this season, they noted at least one more still-to-be-announced date.
Cheap game-day tickets + free post-game concerts = a tough deal to beat. Even better: You can buy the cheap seats & then move down for the concert; it switches to general admission after the game.
Watching the Braves play doesn’t have to be expensive.
As is, quite a few tickets are priced at $8 each per game, and fans have the option of bringing their own food & non-alcoholic beverages with them to Turner Field.
Here’s the list of discount ticket reminders:
- On ScoreBig, Bid to save 10%-70% on tickets to games all season long. It’s free to sign up; the link lets you skip the wait list for membership. Your savings will vary by game, but I just scanned the list, and tickets for some games have hit the highest discount bracket.
- You’ll need to sign up with Goldstar to take advantage of this deal (it’s free to sign up). On the Atlanta page, you’ll find offers to save 50% on tickets to select Atlanta Braves games. The inventory will vary throughout the season, but you’ll need to act early when you spot them, as they’ve been known to sell out.
Want other ways to get in on the cheap? Take advantage of one of these deals for the 2011 season. FYI–If there’s no promo code required (or unless otherwise noted), you’ll find the deals on the Braves’ ticketing site when you try & order tickets online; just choose the tickets for the specific sections indicated:
- There are 21 Value Dates in 2011. For Monday-Thursday games from August 30-September 28, you can get the following deals: $35 = Golden Moon Casino ticket (reg. $46), $25 = Terrace Level ticket (reg. $38), $16 = Outfield ticket (reg. $24), & $10 = Upper Box ticket (reg. $14). You have to buy the ticket before the day of the game to get the deal.
- Available 2.5 hours before every game, you can buy $1 SkyLine seats at the Turner Field Ticket Office (186 tickets available per game)
- On Buck Belue $5 Buck Nights, Lower Level Terrace Reserved Tickets are $5 each (reg. $24). The deal is available for select Monday night games: June 20 vs. Blue Jays, July 25 vs. Pirates, August 15 vs. Giants, September 12 vs. Marlins, & September 26 vs Phillies.
- On Coca-Cola Terrific Tuesdays, you can buy two Golden Moon Casino Pavilion tickets for $30.
- On Toyota Wonderful Wednesdays, you can buy two Lower Level Outfield Pavilion tickets for $30.
- With valid ID or your AAA card, college students, members of the military, and members of AAA can buy two Upper Box tickets for the price of one.
- Season ticket packages start at $4 per game, so it’s worth checking into if you’re planning to head out for the bulk of the games.
- This one’s via a GasSouth promo, so you’ll need to order tickets via this link to get the deal: You can save on tickets to Sunday-Thursday home games all season long. If you use promo code “GASSOUTH”, you’ll get 2 for $20 Upper Box tickets, 2 for $30 Outfield Pavilion tickets, and 2 for $40 GMC Club Pavilion tickets. Also, per Stephanie, you can use promo code “TRLZOO” & get the same deal via Travelzoo.
Planning to eat at Turner field? Try these two deals:
- With the Chevron Family Value Plan, you’ll get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas, a parking pass, a Braves yearbook, and a $5 Chevron gas card. Prices start at $69.
- Eat a lot? You may want an “All You Can Eat Seats” Golden Moon Casino Pavilion ticket, which starts at $55 for group tickets & $70 for single tickets. You can fill up on unlimited smoked BBQ sandwiches, chicken wings, all-beef franks, potato salad, peanuts, popcorn, chocolate chip cookies, Coca-Cola products, and draft beer. Z posted a comment re: this deal the last time I posted the round-up; I’ll include it below as an FYI. You may get both a better deal & better view with another option.
- Per Z: “Braves All You Can Eat / Drink tickets. If you’re not driving home and can pack away a lot of beer then it’s a ok deal, but otherwise it’s not so great. $70 (sometimes more on weekends and game day). They don’t serve the food or beer until right as the game starts. On busy days the run out of food lots of times. At the start of the 7th they begin to take food away. AT THE END OF THE 7th THEY TAKE AWAY THE BEER. To make the value work, you really need to take advantage of everything. If you have a designated driver or take MARTA, it’s great though. It’s really not a value for anyone not drinking the beer part; you’re better off buying food at concessions and sitting in cheaper/better view seats.”
