It’s hard to choose…. Adding one more to the mix:
From April 15-17, 2011, SweetWater 420 Fest will take place in Candler Park. It’s free to attend & listen to the myriad of free music, including Arrested Development, Rusted Root, Gurufish, Dead Confederate, 7 Walkers featuring Bill Kreutzmann, Galactic, & Railroad Earth, to name a few.
Plus, there’s the Relapse 420 Comedy Tent, an artists’ market, the Gas South Eco Challenge (register in teams of four), & Kid Zone, and the Planet 420 eco-education area is back.
Ah yes, and then there’s the beer. If you plan to imbibe, you’ll need to pay $5 for a wristband; beer is extra. A portion of the proceeds from wristband sales will be donated to Park Pride, which benefits Candler Park. The Cask Ale Tasting is Sunday at 2:00 p.m. You can sample five Cask Ales from SweetWater Brewery + the crowd favorite from the “Brew Your Cask Off” festival + a special creation by Nick Nock, head Brewer at SweetWater.
Admission to the festival itself is free. No coolers or outside alcohol are allowed, but beer, food & wine will be for sale at the festival.
SweetWater 420 Fest will take place at Candler Park, 1500 McLendon Ave. NE, Atlanta.

So, 5 dollars for unlimited beer? Am I reading that right?
Likely not unlimited. Updated–the wristband just gives you the ability to buy beer. You still need to buy the beer. Not unlimited beer. $5 for a wristband and then $5 per 16oz Sweetwater beer.
Sounds about right, Veteran.
Very enjoyable and informative post.
