September is Swaptember: Members of Participating Atlanta Attractions Save Big

I have family memberships to a few attractions around the Atlanta area. I love ‘em, and they more than pay for themselves because we actually use them. And this month, they’re worth even more:

September is Swaptember. For the month of September, if you’re a member of a participating organization—Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, Atlanta History Center/Margaret Mitchell House, Callaway Gardens, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Georgia Aquarium, Georgia Shakespeare, High Museum of Art, Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta, Michael C. Carlos Museum, or Zoo Atlanta—you can use your membership to save at any of those organizations.

Definitely search this site first for admission discounts, as I’ve likely got a lead on a better deal posted on this site (definitely the case for the High Museum of Art and the Georgia Aquarium).

The key savings are with the discounts on memberships & tickets. For instance, the Georgia Aquarium is offering 20% off the annual pass. Fernbank is offering $5-$15 off individual & family memberships. At Imagine It!, you’ll get a free add-on when you buy a membership. And you can save $5 on tickets to “Twist” through September 9 as well as get BOGO tickets to “Fantasy in Lights” at Callaway Gardens if you buy by September 30, 2010.
