My Borders email update reminded me to check for book signings at Borders-East Cobb and Borders-Buckhead. A few caught my eye:

• March 12 at 7:00 p.m.: Reading & signing with Mary Pope Osborne and Natalie Pope Boyce for Leprechaun in Late Winter at Borders-East Cobb
• April 8 at 7:00 p.m.: Book signing for Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood at Borders-East Cobb
• April 8 at 7:30 p.m.: Book signing for Paula Deen’s Savannah Style at Borders-Buckhead

Yes, I know that Mary Pope Osborne may not seem like she’s at the same level of celebrity as Paula Deen & Trisha Yearwood, but to my daughters, she (and her Magic Tree House book series) has rock-star status.

Borders-Buckhead is located at 3637 Peachtree Rd. NE, Suite C., Atlanta.

Borders-East Cobb is located at 4475 Roswell Rd., Marietta.
